Original painting from 1976 of St. James fighting the Turks. Set in Villalobos Cusco.
Folk art style with a village, lots of people and tiny floral details.
Comes framed in a pretty dark brown wood carved with flowers. Wired and ready to hang.
Measures 22" wide and 16" high.
In fair vintage condition. Painting shows wear and pencil marks where the artist drew on the canvas. Some dingy spots on the lighter colors. One significant spot (see photo #7 for best detail) where it appears that the paint was smudged. Framed is worn in spots. Even with the flaws it is a stunning piece with lots of detail and bright colors. Very unique.
