Vintage 1920s carnival prize: large girl statue. She's all white wearing a cap, sweater and bell-bottom pants.
Chalkware figures were given away as carnival prizes from 1910 through the 1950s. Per the seller, this particular piece was won at the Riverview Amusement Park in Chicago. The park was demolished in 1967.
The statue measures 9.5" tall and 3" wide.
It shows wear indicative of of its age and chalkware in general. She has paint loss and knicks & one large chip at the top of her hat. She does display really well and has lots of shelf life left! A terrific memorabilia piece for a collector or a unique display item.
