Mid century 1950s leather briefcase manufactured by Rexbill.
This case is a reddish brown cowhide leather.
It has gold brass accents, including a front latch. Spot for a key, but no key available.
It has the initials H.L.K. embossed in gold lettering on the front.
Handle is leather covered and worn. Bag has hinged sides and interior is tri-divided.
Bag is in worn leather condition with lots of charm. Some worn spots (in particular wear to the left-side bottom edge). Crackled leather around the top of the case. Hand-stitched and well made. Would also make a terrific display item for vintage-style decor, especially an office.
Measurements:
12.25" tall, 15.5" wide, 10.5" in depth.
