Amazing set of three Dicken's Works books from the 1870 Household Edition. Titles included are: Oliver Twist, The Curiosity Shop and Martin Chuzzlewit. These were published by Lee and Shepard. This set would make a terrific gift for the literature fan and/or would make a great addition to a collection. Love the green covers with the navy script and gold accents.

All three are in very good condition for their age. The Oliver Twist book shows the most wear, some loose binding which has caused the first few pages to separate a bit. The binding is solid on the other two books. There is some wear to the outside cover and fraying a bit around the edges of the hardcover.

All books have an embossed name on the front cover of the books indicating the former owner. The Oliver Twist book also has the name written (in beautiful script!) on the inside of the book.
