Lovely vintage cookie/biscuit tin from 1977 by Webb and Bower depicting Edith Holden's "Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady." This gorgeous tin is encircled with birds, flowers and quotes. The lid reads has blue and pink dog roses and reads, "All twinkling with the dewdrops sheen, the briar-rose falls in streamer's green" Scott

Around the side of the tin it reads, "September blows soft- till the fruits in the loft." There is a picture of two blue and brown birds in the trees, with "House Sparrows and Oats" written next to them. There's a picture of a mother bird feeding her three babies in a garden that reads, "Willow Warbler feeding young." And, lastly, there's colorful bird eating from a flower that reads, "Goldfinch feeding on thistle seed."

The tin measures 5.5" high and 3.25" wide. It is in good vintage condition with some very minor scratching to the paint here and there (not very noticeable, but worth mentioning).
