Love this kitschy cute duck couple! Japanese ceramic salt and pepper shakers, mid century. These feature a male duck and a female duck, both appear very studios standing on books!

The male duck is dressed in a green vest with a bow-tie and a blue hat. The female duck is wearing polka dots and a green bow-tie, along with a graduate-style cap.

They measure 3.75" high and 2.5" wide. The underside of both are stamped "Japan" and they have their original stoppers intact. Both are in good vintage condition, with some minor paint wear and a few tiny edge-chipping here and there. They used to have a faux fur tails, those these have worn away over the years. The tails have some minor residue from where the fur used to be intact. They display very well and have tons of vintage charm!
