What a wonderful collector's edition item from fans of the Brambly Hedge storybooks! This piece 1990s is a limited edition collectors plate/wall hanging featuring a scene from "Summer Story" of the Brambly Hedge books.
It pictures a little male mouse dressed in victorian attire (blue suit with pink accents) holding the hand of a little lady mouse who is dressed in a pretty white dress with an apron and straw hat (also with pink accents). They are in a pretty garden by a little tree with a door.
The backside of the piece is stamped, "Summer Story First issue in A Visit to Brambly Hedge. This limited edition closes forever on June 15, 1995. Brambly Hedge copyright Jill Backlem 1993. Plate No. A902."
It is made of a hard ceramic material and the picture is very detailed in 3-D (raised ceramic). The edges of the piece are etched in a pretty floral vine. It comes ready to hang on the wall (with an attached ring). It's oval in shape and measures 7.5" long and 5.75" wide.
